Summertime

This limited edition print is of an original
oil painting that was done in 1978.

The mares and foals are gathered in the shadows of the trees
where it is cool and comfortable. They have been grazing all
afternoon. Now it is time for a recess. As I walk across the open
field toward them they watch my approach with lazy curiosity.
The scene is idyllic - warm and friendly and unforgetable.
